四万温泉発祥の湯とされる「御夢想の湯」の前で、
大釜に御夢想の湯の源泉から汲み上げた温泉を焚きます。
その大釜の湯を『湯笹』によって周囲に振りかけ、
神仏の心をいさめ、諸災を除き、無病息災を願う儀式です。
